Job Description

Project Manager - Pub Fit-Out£60,000 - £70,000 + Company VehicleDartfordAbout the companyMy client has been running since 2006 and have become experts in providing reactive day to day building maintenance, planned preventative and cyclical maintenance, measured term maintenance and emergency out of hours services, as well as bespoke commercialjoinery; full commercial refurbishments and full building services.The client has also become the biggest contractor within the Southeast for one of the countries largest pub chains.The role:My client is looking for a Project manager to join their team, ideally coming from a hospitality / pub fit-out and joinery background. You would be responsible for looking after a number of commercial sites across the South East, which would include daytrips to sites based on the Isle of White.Duties:Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:

  • Deliver assigned projects in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost, and quality.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, quality and health and safety.
  • Be able to work to strict timelines and under
  • Be self-motivated and a great team player.
  • Project Scheduling - Programming procurement and the scheduling of material deliveries in a timely manner. Assessing and planning task management and resources (I.E. people and money)
  • Managing the customer relationship - To include liaising with the client, architects, and design teams, to ensure that high levels of customer satisfaction are always maintained. Carry out site surveys and attend site meetings as required.
  • Managing Project Budgets - Maintain and improve project margins. Negotiations with suppliers and sub-contractors, tracking variations and producing monthly valuations and cost reports.
  • Managing the team - Work with the relevant departments and sub-contractors to ensure the smooth planning and implementation of the project.
  • Hand over - Keep all records and databases up to date, including project diaries to enable full and timely hand over.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a project manager is a must.
  • Prior experience within the hospitality / pub fit-out sector is must.
