Our client the UKs leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for Project Design Engineer to join them in continuing their mission to empower organisations with physical security solutions.This is a great opportunity for an experienced, methodical, analytical, self-starter to join their small and dedicated team in Dartford.Location: DartfordSalary: £30-40k per annum depending on experienceThe role will see you use your strong technical knowledge and project management skills to support engineering and technical efforts of all departments, primarily focussing on delivery of client projects.Key responsibilities include maintaining records for assigned tasks, CAD templates & library and awareness of relevant design standards. You will also produce client concept designs, technical product information and advice to other departments as well as sitedrawings and job specific manufacturing documentation.Day to day you will work with suppliers to ensure correct manufacture of parts and product, attend site meetings/surveys when required, assess requests for modification of standard products and create product/training manuals.Our ideal applicant will have/be;* Autodesk Inventor (intermediate/advanced)* Recent design experience in a similar environment* Full UK Driving License* Practical skills with the ability to participate/assist in technical product build/install* IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite)* Positive can-do attitude towards teamwork* Strong communication skills, verbal and written* Excellent organisational and project management skills* Highly technical with a drive to learn new productseSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
