Job Description

We are recruiting a Membership sales person, Golf and Health and FitnessBirchwood Park Golf and Country Club is part of the Burhill Group Limited (BGL), a privately owned company by members of the Guinness family. The Club has first class facilities which include a Health and Fitness suite, swimming, multiple function and eventsrooms, two golf courses and a floodlit driving range with.Our stunning health and fitness facilities include wellness and relaxation areas along with a fabulous 25 metre pool, we have two golf courses, our 18 hole Main Course plus a fun 9 hole short course, ideal for beginners and families.We are keen to recruit either seasoned professionals or motivated salespeople at the beginning of their career in leisure sales, you will be joining a team of three other Sales Executives who are supportive and committed to delivering the properties salesgoals.We highly value the people who work for us and the customers we serve, people are our lifeblood; We want them to develop to their full potential.Perks & Benefits

Transparent commission structure to compliment a competitive salary of £24k, with OTE realistically reaching £30k.Overview of RoleThis full-time role will focus on sales of both Golf and Health and Fitness memberships, based in the sales office you will be responsible for the customer sales journey from initial enquiry be that via online or telephone, through to the day of the event.We are looking for someone who is passionate in delivering sales results whilst maintaining excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner.Experience of working in sales within the hospitality sector is preferred, but an outgoing, results driven individual with a passion for sales and service is key. You will need to be effective communicator, well presented, with a strong desire to succeed,all attributes that will support your success.
  • Handling customer sales enquiries from start to finish.
  • Be proactive with outreach and can turn leads into genuine prospects through personality, rapport and sound needs analysis.
  • Contributing to reaching and exceeding the monthly and annual membership targets.
  • Working to retain members through quality service and positive communication and engagement.
  • Proactive planning and delivering effective lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain data on our CRM.
  • Conduct property tours, tailored to the prospects needs.
  • Contributing to the marketing planner for the business with scope to implement your own ideas.
