Job Description

We"re currently recruiting a dedicated Logistics Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.As a Logistics Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.   • Understand and deliver all contractual terms for portering, security and helpdesk services
  • Ensure that portering, security and helpdesk standards are high and increase positive patient satisfaction scores
  • Identify any additional opportunities for the contract and discuss with the Deputy Contract Director
  • Analyse and manage effectively in unit cost in relation to the portering, security and helpdesk service
  • Ensure full purchasing compliance for all service streams
  • Ensure records for the portering service are accurately inputted and maintained
  • Complete labour schedule within the labour budget
  • Effectively minimise any agency and overtime spend

Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Operational experience in helpdesk, portering and security services
  • Computer literate

  • Able to communicate at all time
Desirable
  • What else would enable the individual to meet the requirements of the role
  • HND / Degree in Management
  • Financial acumen
  • Industry aware
  • Assertive, calm and works well under pressure
