KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistants - DartfordRequired from September 2020Full Time and Part TimeAre you a passionate teaching assistant, with experience of supporting children with SEND Or, do you have extensive experience of supporting in a mainstream primary setting, but would love to gain further experience of supporting children with various needs such as AutismClassic Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and proactive teaching assistants to work across our fantastic primary schools in Dartford, supporting children on a 1:1 basis across all key stages. The successful candidates will be available on a short or long term basis from September 2020.We are of course fully aware and understanding of the current uncertain times we are all experiencing, and we are in regular contact with our schools who want to ensure they are fully prepared and ready for when schools reopen, with dedicated, confident and caring staff ready to go ASAP.For this role, ideally you will:- Be available 3 - 5 days a week.- Possess an up-to-date DBS, or be willing to acquire one through Classic Education.- Have previous experience of supporting children on a 1:1 basis, particularly children with ASD.- Have excellent communication skills, to effectively engage pupils in the learning.- Be able to use positive reinforcement, in accordance with the schools behaviour policy, to effectively manage behaviour and promote outstanding learning within the classroom.Classic Education can offer you:
