Job Description

We are currently working on behalf of a global shipping and logistics company based in Dartford looking for a Freight Account Manager to join their team, with a duty of winning new business and nurturing current business.If you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are looking for a sales role where you can thrive and grow then this is the role for you!Key Responsibilities

  • Cold calling, lead generation & customer appointments
  • Maintain and develop your existing accounts.
  • Knowledge of your own hauliers will be a great advantage.
  • Process bookings from customer by phone/email
  • Handle the coordination of freight (Land, Air or Sea)
  • Handle all operational aspects of import and export movements.
  • Request customs clearance of both export and import shipments via our in-house customs team.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo.
