Job Description

To provide support to the FP&A Manager in reporting management information, data analysis and forecasting models whilst ensuring the financial integrity of the reporting function.Client DetailsA organisation who are performing well in the current climate are now looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team. This is a new opportunity based on continued growth.Description

  • Responsible for reporting on the performance of the operation
  • Daily reporting to the operational teams and directors
  • Weekly reporting including variance analysis
  • Period reporting including material for board packs
  • Creation of new reports including KPIs
  • Ad-hoc on specific operational needs as requested
  • Automate process and reporting requirements
  • Data management to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Collaboration with the operational teams on input data
  • Labour reconciliations so daily costing is accurate
  • Monitoring accuracy of customer rate card implementation
  • Working with IT to develop exception reports as part of control environment
  • Analysis of operational performance
  • Identification of trends to assist in business improvements and promote best practices
  • Analysis of historic data to provide information on rates for commercial tenders
  • Variance analysis and scenario planning to provide context to the budgeting and forecasting process
  • To take initiative in identifying issues whilst continuously improving quality and processes whilst working with non-finance stakeholders
  • To provide support to the wider finance department and to take on various projects as requested by management
