Job Description

Welcoming School in Welling, Bexley | April 2024Wayman Education is seeking an inspiring, dedicated, and reliable EYFS Teacher to join a reputable primary school in Welling, Bexley. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teachingin an EYFS setting. Aside from that, the successful EYFS Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.EYFS Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire EYFS students to reach their full potential
  • Monitor and assess students progress and keep regular records of EYFS students’ academic performance
  • Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for EYFS students
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
  • Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment
EYFS Teacher Requirements:
  • EYFS teacher experience
  • QTS or equivalent
  • A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelors degree in Education or any relevant field
  • Proven experience in teaching EYFS in a mainstream primary or secondary school
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
  • A passion for teaching and making a difference in students lives.
