Job Description

Ductwork TechnicianDartford£24,000-£28,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)Our client is a national leader in the compliance industry with current contracts in high-security Government facilities, defence contractors and NHS hospitals across the country. Whilst other companies have struggled over recent years, they have thrivedand are currently experiencing an increased demand for their services. Because of this, they are looking for hard-working individuals to complete fire damper tests, AHU works, install access panels and clean ventilation, ductwork and kitchen canopies to TR19standards.This is a brilliant opportunity for an Air Hygiene/Duct Work Technician to join a market leading company working at high security premises across the Southeast.Ductwork Technician Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Inspecting and testing of fire dampers.
  • Inspection ventilation systems and installing access panels.
  • Kitchen canopy and filter cleans as well as grease readings.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19 and taking before and after pictures.
  • Ductwork and ventilation cleaning in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Ductwork Technician Skills & Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Must be happy to work in confined space and at height.
  • Must be willing to work night shifts at times.
  • Must be willing to travel and stay away at times.
  • Preferably will have some experience in a similar role & completing similar duties.
