Job Description

Duct Work EngineerDartford£22,000-£28,000 + Benefits (DOE)Our client is a national leader in the compliance industry with current contracts in high-security Government facilities, defence contractors and NHS hospitals across the country. Whilst other companies have struggled over recent years, they have thrivedand are currently experiencing an increased demand for their services. Because of this, they are looking for hard-working individuals to complete fire damper tests, AHU works, install access panels and clean ventilation, ductwork and kitchen canopies to TR19standards.This is a great opportunity for an Air Hygiene/Duct Work Engineer to join a market leading company working at high security premises across the Southeast.Duct Work Engineer Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Inspecting, testing and cleaning of ventilation systems.
  • Kitchen canopy and filter cleans as well as grease readings.
  • Fire damper testing and instillation of access panels.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Duct Work Engineer Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license is essential for the position.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • You will be trained in confined spaces with any other training being beneficial.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • You must have some experience in a similar role & completing similar duties.
