Leading international organisation, excellent working culture, flexible hybrid working.Reports to Group Head of IT (Number 2 in the global technology organisation).Key FocusTo manage the development, preparation, and publication of Internal communications to/from the IT teams, as well as all progress reporting from the IT teams to relevant exec meetings, committees, and leadership groupsResponsibilities• Work closely with the CIO and their SLT to develop the standard approach to reporting across each function and discipline. Prepare, update, and share key messages and related materials for internal and external audiences, developing a key message toolkitthat is available to all required parties and is updated frequently.• Create engaging collateral (newsletters, PowerPoints, video etc) that support the delivery of effective communication and engagement with different audiences across the business.• Prepare and manage presentation content on behalf of the CDIO and the IT Leadership Team• Manage the reporting calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are delivered in a timely manner.• Provide coaching, guidance, feedback, and support to the IT teams on effective communications as well as a copy check service for vital pieces.• Develop and deploy a style guide and how-to guide for key IT communications and ensure that the team is trained on their use.• Ensure that all internal communication and engagement is measured in some way, so that the insight and learning can be used to drive improvements.• Work with the functional leads and SLT to develop dashboards for their own areas of control that illustrate performance metrics against projects, people, budget and objectives/KRA’s• Developing a reporting language that is non-technical and provides clarity at an executive level outside of the CIO FunctionThe Person• The successful candidate will have previous internal communications experience. You will have excellent writing skills, using simple and clear language that colleagues will understand. You will have the passion and ability to make complex information easilyunderstood.• You are a graduate, (possibly even holding an MBA).• You are financially literate, possibly with a technology strategy background, or experience communicating this.• You have Strong natural project management skills, are confident managing several tasks and delivering to a high standard and are a self-starter.• You have excellent interpersonal skills, at ease building solid relationships at all levels.• You are IT literate with strong MS office skills.
