You will work on a variety of projects, undertaking some laboratory tasks (once trained) and supporting the smooth running of the laboratory.Specifically, you will:- Ensure the laboratory environment is clean and fit for purpose- Maintain cultures and colonies- Log samples- Use laboratory equipment- Enter data to record project progress and results- Support quality standards- Ensure the lab or stocked with all necessary equipment and suppliesAbout YouTo join us as a Laboratory Assistant, you will need:- Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English, Maths and ScienceIdeally, you will have A-Levels in biology, chemistry, maths or physics but this is not essential.
