Job Description

Background: My client is on a mission to be the UKs Number One connectivity wholesaler. The team designs, builds, operates and maintains Gigabit Capable Fibre Optic Networks across the UK, primarily serving dense business locations.They offer a wide range of broadband products boasting many benefits, including low contention, unlimited data transfer, the potential for upgrades, premium support, and download speeds of up to 1Gbps. The recently appointed CEO has led the business through vast changes since taking over, enhancing the leadership team, implementing an indirect sales strategy and securing three successful fundraises. These investments are underpinning their ambition tobuild their network past 25% of UK businesses by early 2023.Revenues have tripled year on year since 2020 and the leadership team are focussed on continuing this high growth trend by focussing on increasing revenues in the Enterprise Segment, which includes national carriers, Data Centres and National Telecoms providers.Role:The Enterprise Account Director represents the business client in the Enterprise market. You will be responsible for sales and financial performance within the Enterprise Sales channel and for achieving the annual budget and business/personal objectives.This includes executing the business strategy for the Enterprise Sales channel, increasing the share of specific markets, share of customer wallet, TCV and RevenueResponsibilities include:
  • Drives the sales and financial performance through the Enterprise Sales channel to meet the annual budget, revenue and gross margin metrics set by the business
  • Owns the strategy for certain market segments
  • Works with marketing to deliver Marcomms into specific industry verticals and market segments
  • Represents the company in the marketplace
  • Accountable for sales to our most complex customer relationships
  • Responsible for new customer acquisitions
  • Responsible for shaping and developing new propositions and large strategic contracts, including new network build locations
  • Responsible for customer advocacy through the Enterprise Sales channel and continuous improvement, in line with the customer satisfaction programme
  • Ensuring a professional sales approach at all times
  • Collaborating with shared services functions across the business (e.g. partner sales, finance, operations, project management, etc)
  • Responsible for in-life business and sales development of existing network build locations
  • Responsible for ensuring the Enterprise Sales channel meets all regulatory, legal and security obligations, in line with business policies
  • Ensure the Enterprise Sales channel operates effectively as part of the indirect strategy to the business market
  • Any other tasks commensurate with the role
