Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to work with a Public Sector organisation in Midlothian on a temporary basis for approximately 4 months. In this role you will work as a Personal Assistant to the CEO providing an efficientsecretarial service. Applicants should have previous PA experience and be comfortable providing secretarial support to CEO level staff. This is a full time role with immediate start.Role: Personal AssistantLocation: Dalkeith Office basedHours: 35hrs per weekPay: £16.93 per hourKey Responsibilities" Provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Chief Executive, including diary management and the production of correspondence to a high standard." Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Corporate Office." Manage the workload of the Chief Executive and deal with enquiries, exercising judgement as to the appropriate response and taking immediate action, if necessary." Coordinate and collate responses to complaint letters received by the Corporate Office." Arrange meetings and ensure the Chief Executive is appropriately prepared with papers and briefing materials." Arrange the Chief Executives travel arrangements including international travel and visa applications." Sort and distribute incoming mail and circulars, maintaining an electronic log for tracking purposes. Upkeep filing system." Promote a flexible approach by providing cross cover support in the event of the absence of other team members and undertake duties as required, associated with the other posts in the Corporate Office, sharing workload during peaks in activity." Maintain effective communications and foster good relations with members of the Board and all external contacts." Ensure professional preparation of arrangements prior to visitors arriving in the office."
