Job Description

Catering Assistant required for 22.5 hours per week in Mayfield.The Social Care Community Partnership are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant on a one month contract, this could potentially get extended and there may be permanent opportunities of the back of it. This is to meet the needs of Midlothian Council runFamily Learning Centre based in Mayfield.Catering AssistantAs a Catering Assistant with The Social Care Community Partnership your working week would be Monday to Wednesday 8am - 4pm. The rate of pay for the role is £10.04 p/h.You will be assisting the Kitchen Catering Supervisor in the day to day operational requirements of the kitchen including the basic food preparation, serving of all foods, cleaning, maintenance and check of equipment.Requirements for this role

  • You must have REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene.
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen/catering service.
  • Successful applicants will also be required to undertake a PVG update or join the PVG scheme prior to commencing in post.
