The Post• We are seeking to appoint a dedicated professional to teach in our successful Science department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all three key stages and all three disciplines of Science.• Science is about investigating how the natural world works. Our Science courses are designed to engage students interests at every level by providing relevant and inspiring academic content and practical opportunities to undertake scientific enquiry and learn about the scientific process.• Our science qualifications provide choice and flexibility to suit students of different abilities and aptitudes, supporting them from understanding the basics to going on to pursue a career in science. We offer both combined and separate sciences at GCSE, A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and CTEC Applied Science.• Science lessons are taught in our fully equipped specialised Science block.We can offer: • aspirational young people who respond very well to excellent teaching • an opportunity to extend skills alongside the experienced Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team • a committed and motivated staff team supported by an effective Governing BodyOur SchoolWe are a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results.
