A small one-form entry Catholic Primary school in Dagenham are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school for the summer term to provide 1 to 1 support.The RoleIn this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting a pupil in year 3 with SEMH needs. The child can find being in class quite challenging and will sometimes leave unexpectedly. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is active andable to support the child if he leaves a lesson and is able to de-escalate situations and support the child to return to class. The school is well-resourced to support children with SEN and you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan andspecific interventions and provide assessment feedback.This role is offered on a contract basis from April 2024 to July 2024.The School This welcoming Catholic primary school part of a larger Catholic Multi-Academy Trust which has schools across Barking, Dagenham and Redbridge. As a one-form-entry school the school has a family feel and staff work closely to support each other.
