Job Title:SEN Teaching AssistantLocation:Barking and Dagenham, United KingdomStart Date: ASAPWorking Hours: Full Time, 8:30 am to 4:00 pmSalary Range: £80 - £90 per dayAre you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding roleGSL Education are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant position for a reputable school inBarking and Dagenham.This The SEN Teaching Assistant role in Enfield is available for an immediate start and is offered under a temporary-to-permanent contract.As an ASD/SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with ASD and other special educational needs within a mainstream educational setting.SEN Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilites:

  • Implementing tailored interventions to support the individual needs of students with ASD/SEN.
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Providing one-on-one support and small group assistance during classroom activities.
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students with ASD/SEN.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and special educational needs (SEN).
  • Ability to adapt and implement strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with ASD/SEN.
