Job Description

Do you have quality auditing experience and are you seeking a new full-time job in the Dagenham area Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Quality Audit Manager, someone with a "hands on" approach to the implementation ofnew processes and a strong understanding of ISO 9001.In this Quality Systems Manager role, you will be responsible for developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems across the company, including its supply chain. You will be the lead person to manage internal and external auditsrequired to ensure the company meets or exceeds compliance to maintain all of the required industry accreditations and certifications.In your early stages of this Quality Systems Manager role, you can expect to:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the BMS throughout the company, including all current and new business accreditations
  • Maintain the Quality Manuals and quality procedures and ensure content is appropriate for the business
  • Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met
  • Liaise with external bodies on all matters related to registration, certification, or accreditation
  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
To apply for this Quality Systems Manager role, you will need a relevant quality, business, or manufacturing engineering degree and a detailed understanding of ISO 9001 and CoP. You will also require the following:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing SME environment undergoing a maturity and growth journey
  • Automotive Quality Management auditing experience
  • A good understanding and application of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing skills
  • Advanced experience dealing with customers, suppliers and external bodies.
