Job Description

A cross functional leadership opportunity leading production, engineering and warehousing teams on a shift basis.There are both days only and nights only positions available.This is a newly created opportunity to join a fast growing business as they continually invest in improving their operations. These roles will see the individual managing a factory across 3 main operational functions (production, engineering, warehousing),driving performance and reliability on site. We would consider applications from those who have either production or engineering backgrounds that want to move into a wider operational role or those currently operating at an Operations Manager or Factory Managerlevel.Ideally, you will have come from a well regarded FMCG manufacturing business where you have been trained in or had exposure to continuous improvement projects. This role isnt about fixing a broken site - the site runs well, this about getting them fromgood to great. You will be driving improvement projects with your teams across all functions, ensuring a strong emphasis on root cause analysis, continuous improvement mindset and using data to inform decisions.We are looking for...

  • Experience as a Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Factory Manager or Operations Manager in a FMCG environment
  • Formally qualified in continuous improvement or able to demonstrate through experience driving performance through various CI projects or initiatives
  • Progressive management career in either production or engineering or through cross functional leadership programmes
  • Visible and inspiring leader that can create a high performance culture
  • Can display strong communication skills both on the shop floor and at a senior level
  • Able to analyse and use data to drive decision making
