Job Description

PLANT OPERATIONAL MANAGERBUILD BLOC LTDJOB BRIEFBuild Bloc Ltd is a concrete products manufacturing company. Our primary business is to service the Builders Merchants and related industries with high quality aggregate blocks manufactured from our state of the art facility in East London.We are looking for a Plant Operational Manager to take on the responsibility of overseeing the manufacturing of concrete blocks, working to drive improvement and efficiency of production. The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant to ensure policies and procedures are followed, including safety regulatory requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the safe operation of a static concrete batching plant and MEGABLOC concrete block production plant
  • Monitor all production operations and costs and undertake or arrange for the preparation of reports and records
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting and resolve any issues as they arise to ensure smooth production
  • Develop strategies to increase productivity and production
  • Plan overall production activity and daily manufacturing activity, setting quality standards and estimate timescales and costs
  • Oversee supervision of the production line and its staff, ensuring targets are met
  • Monitoring production processes, such as correct mixing of materials
  • Plan and ensure that stock levels of raw materials are always maintained to ensure smooth production
    • JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
  • Previous work experience as a Plant Manager for 3 years
  • Previous experience in concrete products production line/factory
  • Proactive problem solver
