My client, based in Dagenham, are currently seeking experienced Grade 1 Print Finishers. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in litho print finishing and will be experienced in using MBO folders, Heidelberg Stitchers and Polar Guillotine machinery (or some combination of these) and be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.The shifts for this role are 12 hour night shifts, 7 on 7 off, 6pm-6am. If you are unable to commit to working a permanent night shift on this shift pattern, sadly we will be unable to consider you for this position.The Role- Produce work to the highest standards, obtaining maximum output and ensuring procedures and pass sheets are followed at all times- To communicate with the finishing manager in a timely manner- Liaise with fellow operators for handovers / any arising issues- Keeping a clean and tidy workspace at all times- Completion of any relevant worksheets and accurate recording of KPIs- To gain an understanding of the Management Information Systems and use them accurately to report back to the planning departmentThe Candidate- Has previous experience in a similar role (essential)- Is experienced in using guillotines, folders and general finishing equipment - experience in using MBO folders, Heidelberg Stitchers and Polar Guillotines is highly advantageous (essential)- Is flexible with a positive attitude towards work- Is comfortable working on a permanent night shift patternShiftsThe shifts for this role are 7 on 7 off and are 12 hour shifts, permanent night shifts.SalaryThe salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 based on experience.This is an urgent requirement, please forward your CV for immediate consideration.
