Excellent opportunity for a Junior Application Support Analyst to progress within a an organisation offering excellent career opportunities and benefits. The role is to provide application support to a group of companies whilst producing reports and analyticsbased on Sales/Financial/IT services using Excel and ERP tools.Role Responsibilities Creating, maintaining, manipulating and analysing data and then preparing reports Producing and delivering standard routine MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) Providing commentary, insight and recommendations based on routines, reports and trends Identifying opportunities for new reports to support customer objectives and developing these in conjunction with the Business Intelligence function Working as part of the IT team supporting core business applications and infrastructure Providing 1st line and 2nd line support for internal and external stakeholdersPerson Specification A degree (ideally at 2:1 or above) within an analytical or business related field Excellent Excel skills, strong in other MS Office applications and SQL query writing and familiar with Windows, Windows servers and UNIX (Red Hat), MS SQL2008R2 and Oracle Practical experience in data analytics and the development of predictive models Exposure to predictive modelling techniques such as regression, decision trees, Markov Chain Ideally at least 12 months experience in an analytical role using Excel and reporting applications like Crystal A real passion for excellent customer service and the ability to deliver this at a high level Excellent organisation, communication skills, and an impeccable telephone manner So,eexposure to KerridgeK8ERP or LisecGPS applications would be advantageous Web development skills such as HTML, .Net,
