Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Yard Operative£12.30 Per Hour6.00 AM - 3.00 PMWe are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Yard Operative to join our team. As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating the forklift and assisting with various yard duties. If you havea valid counterbalance forklift license, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.Responsibilities:" Safely operate the counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the yard." Conduct thorough pre-operational checks of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition." Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers using the forklift." Organize and maintain the yard by stacking and organizing materials in designated areas." Assist with general yard duties, including manual lifting, sorting, and cleaning." Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment." Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks. " Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.Requirements:" Valid counterbalance forklift license." Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a yard or warehouse setting. " Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow them diligently." Physical strength and stamina to handle manual tasks and lift heavy materials." Excellent coordination and attention to detail to ensure the accurate movement of materials." Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team." Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively."
