Job Description

  • A great opportunity to join a leading FMCG business as an Engineering Manager, covering Maintenance, Projects and Reliability.
  • Would suit an existing Engineering Manager or a Maintenance Manager/No.2 in a function looking for a step up.
In this role, you will be managing a team of around a dozen engineers to minimise downtime, ensuring strong reliability and compliance and drive a high performance, pro-active culture on site. In addition, you will be responsible for any capital improvementsthat are made on site, across both the manufacturing site and the office/facilities.This is a fast paced, FMCG environment and we are looking for a visible leader who can lead from the front and act as a Technical go-to where needs be. Due to the automation and nature of the site, you will need to have a multi skilled background with arecognisable electrical qualification to support this.Requirements of the role
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline
  • Recognisable electrical qualification
  • People management of a team of engineers operating on a shift basis
  • Experience of managing projects in an FMCG environment
  • Contractor management experience
  • Be a dynamic and visible manager that can lead from the front
