We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist in the day to day running of the Support Services Department within the Swansea and Neath areas. You must have the ability and initiative to work both on your own and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills are paramount, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Being a cleaner in our hospitals is a special job. Our cleaners are key members of teams, working together with clinical staff to support the wellbeing of patients while they are in hospital. This is because a sparkling clean environment not only makes a hospital stay more pleasant - it also helps keep infections at bay.Cleaning in a hospital requires skills over and above a typical cleaning job, so we also provide free specialist training to give you that extra knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of cleaning standards and COSHH but full training will be provided for this post.If you are based at one of the field hospitals (either in LLandarcy or the Bay), you will be expected to undertake training and if necessary gain experience on the main hospital sites. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. For further details / informal visits contact:Craig Williamscraig.williams@wales.nhs.uk
