Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer from a manufacturing environment Are you qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentRare opportunity on offer for a maintenance engineer to join one of the most lucrative manufacturers in the UK, where you will play a pivotal part in the companies continued success.Do you have experience applying 5S or Lean Are you an advocate of continuous improvementEstablished over 35 years ago this company manufacture a range of medical products, which are supplied across the globe. Due to continued growth over the last 6 months they have now started 24-7 manufacturing, they therefore require shift engineers to join their nights and weekend team.In this role you will work on state of the art manufacturing equipment, carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and regularly monitor the activities of plant and other machinery. You will be involved in 5S and Lean projects, proactively finding ways to implement continuous improvement. You will work in a close-knit team of engineers, who bounce ideas from one another creating a high performing team environment.This role would ideally suit someone who has a background in FMCG or a highly regulated industry where quality and H&S were pivotal parts of your role.The Role:* Shift Engineer - 4 on 4 off nights - 6M FTC* Multi Skilled - Electrical and Mechanical* Planned and reactive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and machine monitoring* Implementing Continuous Improvement, Lean, 5S* £35000 (Inc Shift Allowance) + Training, Development, Private Medical, Pension and Excellent Benefits.The Candidate:* Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical and Mechanical* Experience working with gears, pneumatics, and hydraulics* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, 17th/18th Edition* Proven background within a manufacturing environment Required skills
