Job Description

Java DeveloperCwmbran£55,000 - £60,000This is the chance for a Java Developer to join a world-renowned organisation in the media industry. They are looking for a talented Java Developer to assist in the development and maintenance of their products and assure they deliver scalable cloud-based services.As a Java Developer, this is what you’ll be doing

  • Design and develop high-quality and robust software.
  • Collaborate with Architects and product owners to assist in refining criteria.
  • Deliver appropriate documentation including designs and API specifications.
  • Adopt engineering practices such as TDD and BDD and CI
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose solutions to issues that arise with software that is installed at client sites.
    • As a Java Developer, the experience you’ll need to bring to the team
  • Java 8 or higher
  • Experience with Databases such as Mongo, Cassandra or Neo4J
  • Understanding of RESTful web services
  • Knowledge of Continuous integration
    • As a Java Developer, this is what you’ll get in return
  • Salary of £55,000 - £60,000
  • Flexible working and will have further remote working but they are hoping to allow people to get into the office post COVID
