Job Description

PMP Recruitment is recruiting Quality Technicians with experience within the automotive/aerospace sectors to join our client located in the Cwmbran area.Working Hours:Monday till Thursday 7 am-4 pmFriday 7am-1pmHourly rate £13.22Duties:

  • Protect customers from non-quality, by ensuring that products and practices comply with regulations, customer requirements and Safran standards and promoting a culture of prevention and anticipation
  • Drive continuous improvement, by capitalizing on factual data and feedback and providing the necessary support for all company functions
  • Undertake other reasonable duties, in line with business needs and objectives, which are consistent and commensurate with the overall purpose of the position
  • Verify the conformity of product and part quality to agreed product quality standards and requirements
  • Work to a standard inspection process in a consistent manner in line with specifications and standards agreed with the customer
  • Ability to use Verniers, micrometres and FARO arm to perform inspection activities.
  • Support and assist with customer inspection activities
  • Complete part and assembly FAI to AS9102 using a wide range of inspection equipment against model data and third-angle projection drawings.
  • Act as EASA form one signatory for parts and products for release (after training)
  • Act as a Certificate of Conformity signatory (after training)
  • Assist as a team member in problem-solving activities for manufacturing product quality issues and measures (Using 8D Techniques)
  • Support the quality activities within the project timeline
  • Maintain an effective product inspection portfolio
  • Ensure that the customers voice is heard and understood by all suppliers
  • Support and promote excellence among all suppliers by implementing the methods and tools recommended by the company
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of products and services purchased and/or provided by the company
  • Ensure that supplier system, product and process anomalies are addressed, with the necessary assurances that corrective actions are effective
  • Ability to use Verniers, micrometres and FARO arm to perform inspection activities.
