The company you will be working for is called: Corcoran Yates Ltd ta The Product GroupThis role is based in the aviation sector, in this role you will form the core personnel of the factory being responsible for assembling the final product. The role will be discussed more in depth at the interview providing you are successful after an NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) has been signed.All successful candidates will be required to complete a BPSS security check.This is a 6 month contract with a high likelihood to extend as the factory has recently secured lots of work and is currently ramping up production.[2 Positions Available]A successful candidate must have experience in:- Have experience in any of the following: Mechanical assembly, aircraft fitter, assembled electronics such as semiconductors, PCB’s, compressors or any other small electrical components or done sub assembly.- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, etc)You must have a full UK Passport, full UK driving license and lived in the UK for five years or more.Job duties:• Lifting of heavy parts will be needed while conforming to moving and handling regulations.• Individuals will be assembling components into the product.• Maintaining the assembly area keeping a tidy work area• You will be working at a fast pace and with small parts• Meet minimum production quotas• Using various tools and materials to assemble the components into the product• Final hand assembly and packaging for shipment• Working independently to assemble the product and being apart of a wider team• Reporting directly into the manufacturing manager• Inspecting each assembled piece for damages, loose screws/bolts, etc• Comply with all work instructions as determined by the guide you will be provided with.Hours: 37.5hr week, 8.00am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday. With the following unpaid breaks 2x15min breaks, and a half hour lunch break.
