Are you an experienced Logistics Administrator looking for a new opportunityIf so, please apply below:Client DetailsPage Group are partnered with an international manufacturing organisation based in Cwmbran to recruit a Logistics Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.This is a large family owned business that still remains as a family-feel culture. The organisation has been established for over 50 years and operates across the UK, EU and US.Free on site parking is offered.Working hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday to Thursday and 0800 to 1400 on Friday.Starting salary is between £23,000 and £25,000 with 22 days AL plus bank holidays.DescriptionMaintain the stock control system ensuring all equipment is correctly allocated on/off hire contracts and/or assigned to unit sales ordersObtain quotes for transport and raise purchase orders to the third-party hauliers, couriers or freight forwardersLiaise with third party hauliers to book and monitor transport for the collection and delivery of plant and equipmentLiaise with chemical and gas suppliers to arrange and monitor the supply of chemicals to new and existing sites to coincide with other plant delivery where possible and re-order when requestedLiaise with customer to agree delivery/collection date & update the client accordingly on the progress of the delivery/collectionUpdate Engineering Operations so the Field Engineers can be allocated coincide with the delivery or collection of equipmentComplete all necessary paperwork to comply with customers site booking in requirementsRaise Hire Contracts & Sales Contracts listing all required serial numbers & produce delivery notes and subsequently produce collection notes at point of off hire.Act as a point of contact with client personnel where required and appropriate regarding the delivery or collection of equipmentArrange for the delivery of replacement stock items to customers siteActively participating in stock checks as required and reporting any discrepancies to avoid invoicing and/or stock control differencesWork and liaise with Finance to resolve invoicing errors and perform the necessary investigations to avoid future errorsEnsure any waste materials are appropriately and safety disposed of where relevant to your roleHandle equipment/parts in such a way to avoid unnecessary damage and as such unnecessary cost to the companyProfileThe ideal candidate:*Experience in a Logistics Administrator, Transport Administrator or similar role*Strong attention to detail*Ability to liaise with other internal departmentsJob OfferPlease apply with your CV.Cwmbran - Logistics Administrator
