Job Description

Ackerman Pierce are currently recruiting for call handers for the NHS in the Cwmbran areaMust have good telephone/call handler skills and experience with Outlook. IT skills such as proficient in MS Word, Excel would be an advantage.Hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (some weekend work may be possible if candidate available)Requirements

  • % of call handling and administration of the role 80% calls /20% admin
  • Duties: calls will be from wards for bank workers and agencies to fill nursing shifts, calls from bank staff requesting information (may also be required to complete invoice checking later in the placement) volume of calls is variable depending on warddemand
  • There is no guarantee of weekend working. This would become available once candidate is proficient in role, on call is 8am to 8pm both Saturday and Sunday, but could be flexible.
  • Location is: Resource Bank, Ground Floor, Workforce Dept, Llanfrechfa Grange, NP44 8YN, parking is very accessible, directly outside office
  • No DBS required - no patient contact involved
  • Duties of role and Information Governance training will be provided on first day induction.
  • Interview Process - will via teams or telephone
  • Role is office base due to equipment being fixed and shared between rotating teams on duty (applying Covid IC guidelines between use)
