THE POSITION:Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to provide 1:1 educational support to a student in Cullompton, Devon.At Prospero Teaching, we work closely with the local authorities, schools, and SEND Teams in the Devon area and we specialise in providing qualified and experienced tutors to work with children in looked after care (LAC/CLA), pupils in mainstream schoolsthat require additional educational support and young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education.We are currently looking for an experienced teacher/tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 11 student who is not currently accessing mainstream education and is sitting their GCSEs in the summer term. The tutor will be required to deliver core subject support (English, Maths & Science) and will be delivering 15 hours per week as an alternative provision. Sessions will be taking place face-to-face at the students home in Collumpton, so applicants must be available to work face-to-face and be prepared to travel for the sessions as well as online where needed.Further knowledge of the students ability and targets for education will be provided, but you will be expected to gather your own resources and deliver the curriculum you deem fit.To be considered, you must hold QTS, have experience working with SEND, and have a background in teaching or private tutoring.
