Job Description

Are you looking to led and manage a team of social workers responsible for delivering statutory functions in Private Fostering, Special Guardship support, links to the Regional Adoption Agency and to act as the divisional permanence lead Here is an opportunityto work as Team Manager in Permanence Fostering and Special Guardianship SupportThe pay would be up to £43per hour and is for a management position in the Fostering Service.Responsibilities of this role:

  • To offer advice and influence colleagues, to support effective permanency planning for looked after children
  • To have relevant technical knowledge and transferrable skills
  • To work with colleagues across a variety of social work teams, attending all permanency planning meetings and relevant panels
  • To improve outcomes and the lived experience of children, young people, their families and carers
Requirements of the role:
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Experience of supervising social workers, effective delivery of services within relevant legislative frameworks and managing a social work team
  • Able to drive and holds UK Driving License
