Teaching Assistant needed ASAP in an Outstanding mixed Secondary School in South London.The school is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant immediately, on a full-time basis.If appointed as a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with a range of SEN pupils, with needs ranging from SPAG, ADHD etc.Job responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant post will involve supervising and providing support for student in class and on a 1:1 basis, assisting class teachers in the development of resources, schemes of work and strategies, as well as recording pupilprogress.In terms of qualifications and experience, the school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is educated to at least degree level, has knowledge of working with young people with challenging behaviours, experience of supporting young people from disadvantagedbackgrounds and a solid understanding of proper Safeguarding practices in a school environment.The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will range from £70 to £100 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.The SchoolThe school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, as of 2016."Senior leaders, staff and governors have built a highly successful school by focusing squarely on pupils academic and personal development.
