Job Description

Static Electrical EngineerCroydon - Large Site - Brand New Contract!CR0 4UZ2 week rota shift pattern, 08:00-17:00£37,000-£39,000 + Overtime + 1 in 4 call outDue to a new contract win, One of the UKs leading maintenance companies are looking for aElectrical Engineerto join their team of engineers based on a large commercial site in Croydon, our client can offer imminent progression opportunitiesas well as further training/qualifications.The successfulElectrical Engineerwill be responsible for all reactive and pre planned maintenance on site and integrate in to a team of engineers. They will ideally have previous experience with electrical fault finding and repairs, aswell as good knowledge of writing reports and dealing with paperwork.Package/Benefits:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
  • Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
  • Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
  • Carry out modifications and installations when required
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
  • Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
  • Liaise with client/management
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance (electrical)
  • Previous maintenance experience in a commercial environment
  • Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
  • The successful post holder must be qualified to BS7671 (Current Edition of the IEE Regulations)
  • Have at least 5 years associated trade experience post apprenticeship.
  • Be able to partake in a call-out rota (1 in 4)
