International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK. International Decorative Surfaces are the UKs largest distributor of decorative surfacesspecialising in flooring, worktops, laminates, compact, panel products, solid surface and wall panelling. With an annual turnover of more than £120 million we take the business of fulfilling our customers needs very seriously. We make more than 2,000 dailydeliveries using our fleet of over 100 vehicles achieving a 99% on-time, in-full, service record.This is an exciting position for someone who has previous sales experience, and is comfortable speaking with customers via phone. You will join a fantastic team and carry out a varied role within an office space and showroom environment.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 07:30am - 17:00pm Every other Saturday - 08:00am - 12:00pmIn order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will be;

  • Providing excellent customer service, along with processing orders
  • Able to think on your feet when talking to customers
  • New business development including customer visits, leaflet dropping and building our customer lapsed accounts
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Maintaining KPI targets provided
  • Maintaining stock levels in the branch areas, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Following health and safety procedures within the branch
  • Ensuring all job related training is completed for self and team
  • PC literate to a confident ability
