Job Description

Post - Nurse TrainerSalary - £43,000.00Full Time, PermanentLocation: South London/ Surrey/ commutable to Croydon, plus some travel involved.GoTo Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of one the UK’s fasted growing providers of Complex Care for a Clinical Nurse Trainer.   • This role is so much more than the title of Nurse Trainer would suggest, Clinical Nurse Educator to go by the real title. Teaching, mentoring CPD of the clinical team. Along with training of core clinical skills you will be on hand to shape the future learning of the wider clinical team.Essential Skills and experience for this Nurse Trainer role:
  • Experience of training, developing staff and mentoring
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Clinical knowledge of TPN, PICC, Hickman lines, Ventilators, Tracheostomy’s
  • Possible background or experience in NICU, PACU, ITU settings
  • Training and or Mentoring qualification ideally
  • Duties and responsibilities of this Nurse Trainer role:
  • Provide Professional Development
  • Demonstrates current clinical knowledge
  • Create effective working relations with colleagues
  • Work in collaboration with senior management team as well as the clinical field-based team
  • Able to Challenge poor practice or conduct when observed
  • Delivery of Compulsory training courses
  • As a Nurse Trainer you will be required to run Clinical Training days in the office 2 to 3 days per week for a National Complex Care provider. The rest of your diary will be spent planning, implementing training plans, visiting field-based packages, conducting, and overseeing training within the packages to ensure high standards of care are being practised and ensure training is given to those where required.Please apply with an up-to-date CV to be considered for this Nurse Trainer role.
