Job Description

Immediate start!! HR Advisor for a newly created role working for a dynamic firm in Croydon. Working within a growing human resources team at the firms HQ, you will be looking after a variety of employees (c1200 staff) across the UK - travelling to site generally three days per week (and so you will need a car). This HR Advisor role will focus on a number of areas including redundancies, restructuring, TUPE and investigating & resolving ER issues as well as implementing HR projects.HR Advisor:

  • Dealing with group restructures and so experience of restructures, mergers & acquisitions, redundancies and TUPE are essential.
  • Investigate & resolve employment relations issues arising within the group including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, absence management.
  • Guide managers through the process and to attend meetings to take minutes and to advise on process for legally sound outcomes.
  • Advise remotely to ensure that matters can be progressed without being on site.
  • Manage the human resources inbox - responding and being the first point of contact.
  • Preparing contracts and general human resources documents
  • You will be supported by an HR Administrator and be reporting to the Group HR Manager.
  • Likely travelling at least three days a week to sites across the South East, Midlands, Wales and Greater Manchester.
  • As HR Advisor, you should have a commercial attitude, be organised and managing your time efficiently. Existing practical experience within human resources where you have dealt with restructuring, redundancies and TUPE is essential.HR Advisor for a newly created role working for a dynamic firm in Croydon.
