Zotefoams are currently looking for an OHSE Manager who wants to take a proactive and hands on part in Zotefoams operational excellence and continuous improvement programme at a large and complex manufacturing site.Health and Safety Manager Responsibilities:- Driving, leading & promoting the OHSE strategy, implementation & performance.- Supporting and Advising on environmental health and safety liability risk assessment for major business decisions.- Leading and delivering in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.- Reviewing behavioural approaches to environmental health and safety, recommending appropriate strategy and overseeing implementation.- Carrying out regular site inspections with operational managers to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.- Manage day-to-day environmental health and safety issues and advise / support operational managers on their environmental health and safety responsibilities.- Point of contact for HSE and Environmental authorities.Health and Safety Manager Requirements:- Significant experience of managing a health & safety function.- Experience of working within manufacturing.- Knowledge of OHSE management systems and implementation (e.g. ISO 45001:2018).- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.- Prior implementation of behavioural safety systems.- Demonstrable ability to enhance safety records & processes.- Able to align OHSE to strategic goals.- Calm, patient and assertive with excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational competencies.- Applicants must have unrestricted rights to work in the UK.- Understanding of Change Management (desirable).- IEMA or equivalent (desirable).About Zotefoams:Zotefoams plc designs and manufactures specialised foam products for a world of everyday applications.
