Job Description

Charlesworth Kennedy are a global headhunt company with a specific focus on the global PPE/Technical Textiles market.We are proud to be representing a ground-breaking impact protection solutions manufacturer that licenses a range of unique patented smart materials. The market-changing technology is used to produce a shock absorbing material which can be found in a range of products across the motorcycle, sport, footwear, electronics, military and workwear sectors.Based in Croydon, England, the focus of the role will be to manage the company?s global supply chain department and processes across the UK, China and the US, ensuring the company has a fully optimised and efficient supply chain system, processes, resources and tools that meets the needs of a fast growth business.Key responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and lead the change process using outside resources as required
  • Day-to-day management of the global supply chain team
  • Ensure cross functional engagement across the business to ensure optimal levels of efficiency and customer service
  • Identify and make recommendations to Senior Management for change within the business operating system for Supply Chain
  • Constantly review stock holding efficiencies to maximise productivity
  • Evaluate the existing resource to ensure they are in the right area and identify if additional resource is required
  • Weekly Tasks
  • Review stock holding efficiencies to maximise efficiencies
  • Weekly operations meeting with Global teams to ensure all issues with factories are being monitored /dealt with
  • Offer solutions to customers on shipping queries/delivery issues
  • Maintain weekly delivery schedule and ensure Delivery on Time is to agreed KPI levels
  • Ensure customer feedback from customer requests are responded to within agreed KPI levels
  • Weekly demand planning system solutions to customer request
  • Salary levels are negotiable depending upon experience but range from a basic of £50,000 to £60,000 plus additional benefits. Required skills
