Do you want to support HM Land Registry (HMLR) to deliver an ambitious and complex portfolio of change, involving significant digital, people and process change If so, then we are looking for a Deputy Director of Portfolio Delivery to join our growing Transformation team.Deputy Director of Portfolio Delivery Responsibilities:You will be responsible for strategic oversight and management of the portfolio, including, identifying and managing complex interdependencies. You will actively manage risks and issues to secure successful delivery of the portfolio to deliver the business strategy outcomes and portfolio benefits.You will be the functional lead for HMLR’s Programme and Project Management (PPM) team of circa 80 employees, managing and allocating all PPM resource in line with priorities. This will include ensuring the portfolio outputs are defined, costed and planned to meet strategic outcomes and desired benefits for customers and the organisation. You will ensure business plans are understood and have a clear overarching portfolio narrative.You will make sure the change impact is understood, managed and informs effective stakeholder management. Allocation and oversight of Continuous Improvement resources as well as developing and owning a portfolio level view of significant risks and issues within projects and programme is key. You will embed and maintain government project delivery standards across the whole of HMLR’s portfolio of programme delivery.Deputy Director of Portfolio Delivery Requirements:To be successful in this role you will have a relevant project, portfolio or programme management qualification. You will have experience in a similar Portfolio Delivery role, delivering multiple programmes of a similar size and scope and significant experience of working in a formal project or programme environment. Your strong leadership experience in a matrix structure and building trusted working relationships with colleagues at all levels will be easy for you to evidence.You have proven ability of creating and delivering against a complex plan of programme change at organisational level.
