Job Description

In order to offer the best support and guidance on cyber security risks, issues and general queries, the business has a Front Door help desk function via a cyber security mailbox to which enquiries are routed.A full security clearance will be requiredRole will be working from home The role will be responsible for:- providing 1st line response to cyber security queries. Examples of queries are:o Allow-Listingo Spam emailso TLS encryptiono Email, scanning bypasso Email, macro blocking bypasso Assurance requestso Printing at homeo IT Health Checks;o Taking IT equipment overseas;o Offshoring of information and development.- developing the helpdesk function further e.g. automation, task allocation, implementing off-the-shelf products such as DeskPro- liaising with team members with expertise in order to provide the best response to the queries.- Effectively engaging with the customers to fully understand the requests and provide adequate support- As this role sits within OCISO’s Business Operations Team, you will be required to assist with some business-related activities from time to time in order to meet urgent deadlines.Skills and ExperienceEssential - Technical knowledge of cyber security and IT related issues- Experience of dealing with urgent queries often with conflicting priorities- Able to work flexibly across different areas of a teamDesirable- Experience of using and managing a help desk software example DeskPro.
