Our organisation fosters an environment of compassion, respect, and dedication to promoting personal growth andindependence for those we serve.As a Recovery Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in offering guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance to individuals seeking to reclaim their lives from addiction, mental health concerns, or other challenges. You will work closely withour clients, empowering them to develop essential life skills, promoting community integration, and supporting their overall well-being.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building rapport and establishing trusting relationships with clients.
  • Creating and implementing personalised recovery plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Providing emotional support and assisting clients in developing coping strategies.
  • Facilitating group sessions and workshops focused on life skills, wellness, and recovery.
  • Assisting clients in accessing community resources and social services.
  • Monitoring progress, documenting observations, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgemental approach to supporting others.
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 3 years of performance based references from people that are senior to you
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in mental health, addiction recovery, or social work.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be IT Literate
  • Understand and Demonstrate working with SMART objectives
