Job Description

Job Title: Commercial and Operations ManagerLocation: Hybrid Working – 20% office base (Croydon/London)Contract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £45,000 to £60,000 DOE plus 10% performance related bonusOutcomes First Group is Great Place to Work certified – it’s official!We are looking for a Commercial and Operations Manager to join the WPA and LPC team, part of Outcomes First Group.Our ideal candidate will have experience of both management and finance with the ability to understand and relay complex information quickly and present it in a more digestible format.This is a busy role, where you will undertake a range of tasks at different levels from operational to strategic with a high degree of accuracy.You will drive process and time efficiency with wider teams and in your own role and be innovative and open to change. In this brand-new role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the responsibilities and make it your own.As Commercial and Operations Manager you will have a significant impact on our organisations (WPA and LPC) but predominately on the children we provide services for.Whether it is scheduling staff to ensure we provide a quality service for our children, recruiting staff to support children, managing technology, providing quality data and financial information to leadership for decision-making; you will be instrumentalin shaping people’s experience of both organisations.What we’re looking for:•Experience leading on the production and review of financial data including utilisation and capacity for officers and clinicians.•Demonstratable experience in supporting the tender of new contracts and annual renewals and the leadership teams to financially model new services.•The ability to prepare and monitor financial reports and use gathered data to ensure staffing profiles are specified and meet the financial budgets.•Experience overseeing all financial processes, and ensuring they are completed to enable central finance to undertake month-end activities.•An understanding of payroll and authorising invoices and expenses.•A can do, and problem-solving mindset, to continuously look for ways to maximise revenue.•Knowledge of time/attendance or practice management software especially focussing on utilisaiton reporting.•Run both offices in an effective and efficient manner and manage the teams, including all managerial responsibilities and day-to-day activities. •Knowledge of marketing and social media campaigns and how to promote the service in the most effective manner. •Previous experience of working within a regulated environment with a thorough understanding of GDPR in order to act as the Data Protection Officer•Previous experience supporting a Senior Leadership team with all aspects of the recruitment and selection process of both agency and perm staff and ensuring all compliance with Safeguarding is followed.•Understanding of the importance of a thorough induction process and ensuring that all employees receive effective induction training and comply with mandatory training.•Experience managing multiple projects.Want to hear more Apply today or request more information from our Recruitment team.About the GroupWPA is an Educational Welfare provider based in Croydon.
