Business Analyst - Requirements Analysis, User Journeys, Workflow Design, UAT, Insurance, Fintech, Permanent, London & Remote Working. £45k - £50k +Benefits Fintech company seeks a Business Analyst to work in a client facing capacity responsible for eliciting user requirements, creating associated analysis documentation including some user journeys and working closely within an inhouse development team to deliver enhancements to client facing insurance policy administration and claims management systems. As the BA you will also play a part in setting the UAT criteria, working closely with clientele. Working within a small team Business Analyst will work on the full lifecycle of web application development undertaking client engagement meetings and workshops (remotely) to elicit both business requirements and user requirements. You will subsequently create clear and concise analysis documentation which will include workflow diagrams and user experience journeys; as such some application of UX design principals will be useful here. Once design work is undertaken you will work closely with the development team who are working with ASP.Net, MVC, C#, a .Net 4.0/4.x/.Net Core environment with SQL Server 2012/2016 databases at the backend and HTML, CSS for front-end development. You will raise issues from the dev team to both the Project Manager and also the client where appropriate. Finally, you will set and manage UAT criteria and play a role in the oversight of this process. We are searching for a Business Analyst who possesses experience working in a client facing capacity to elicit requirements and create the necessary documentation for both the client and critically the development team. You will be experienced in creating applicable business analysis documentation and ideally have some understanding of modern UX design (User Experience Design) principals and their application through good UI design. Experience creating user journeys would be an advantage but non-essential. You will also be comfortable undertaking UAT and managing this from a clients perspective. You may have been working within a corporate end-user environment, web development agency, marketing agency, outsource consultancy or similar client-focussed organisation. Ideally this experience will have included time spent working within the Insurance / Insurtech space but this is advantageous, non-essential. You will have exceptional client engagement skills and be able to create clear concise documentation. Strong communication and organisational skills are pre-requisite.
