Business Analyst / BI & MIS Business Analyst - MIS & Business Intelligence Systems, Azure Risk, Underwriting, Claims, Operations. Requirements Gathering, Project Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, UAT. Croydon / Hybrid Flexible Working. £60k - £70k + Bonus+Benefits - Croydon General Insurance corporation seeks a Business Analyst to join the MIS / Business Intelligence Analytics team and act as the BA driving improvements on various analytics systems. You will undertake identification, analysis and documentation of business requirementsin consultation with key business partners across multiple BI systems within various corporate divisions on a global basis.This is a full life cycle Business Analysis role with extensive stakeholder engagement to elicit and define detailed requirements and high-level design documentation, activity workflows, business data dictionaries and other relevant documentation.Subsequently the successful Business Analyst will manage interaction with both the various business sponsors, product owners, subject matter experts to elicit and articulate business requirements and then support internal clients throughout various activitiesincluding project planning, requirements gathering & process definition. Finally, you will be responsible for overseeing system testing and UAT from a business perspective ensuring that BI / MIS system enhancements meet the strategic business needs of the various departments (risk, underwriting, claims, marketing, distribution,operations, finance etc).We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst who has (ideally gained) experience within the insurance sector. You will be familiar with the types of MIS / Business Intelligence systems employed by global insurance companies (such as Qlik, Cognos, Excel,PowerBI etc) and comfortable working across enterprise level systems incorporating (actuarial risk, underwriting, claims, operations etc). The successful BA will be comfortable engaging senior level stakeholders on a global basis and working with technicalteams of solution architects, product owners and SMEs. You will be well versed in requirements gathering, be able to create basic mockups to aid discussions and be familiar with UAT processes. A flexible approach will be required due to the geographies ofthe business users; excellent organisational and communication skills are pre-requisite.
