Business Analyst - Broking - FCA Regulations - £60 - £70k Business Analyst / Systems Analyst required to work with a multi-national Insurance Corporation focussed on FCA regulations on their Broking Platforms which are used by underwriters a brokers across the UK. The Business Analyst will engage stakeholders, working closely with the Senior Business Analyst and additional Project Managers, to gather requirements for enhancements to the platform to comply with FCA regulation, create concise technical specifications followingdetailed functional analysis, gap analysis and data analysis; work with offshore development teams and finally undertake UAT and functional testing of enhancements delivered by the development team. Some production support activities will also be requiredwhich will involve testing reported bugs and errors with new enhancements documenting issues and liaising with the development teams to ensure that problems are rectified to your satisfaction. Finally, you will have the opportunity to lead specific projectsand therefore any Project Management exposure would be useful. We are searching for a Business Analyst who possesses experience gained with data analysis, data and process modelling, gap analysis creation and acquisition of business requirements from senior level stakeholders. You will have worked within the Insurance/Reinsuranceindustry and have experience of business analysis and systems analysis of s, Claims and Underwriting systems as well as experience gained on BA projects for web or mobile based systems and/or Digital platforms. The Business Analyst / Systems Analyst will possess experience of stakeholder engagement within large-scale multi-national environments and possess a strong understanding of Insurance focussed business processes. Additional experience in business process re-engineering(BPR) or a background in development (SAFe) would be highly beneficial although non-essential. Formal BA qualification preferred (ISEB/IIBA or similar) but non-essential.
