Accounts Manager - PracticeCroydon£45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits Are you an experienced Accountant with a passion for client delivery and practice management Do you have a background of Accounts Preparation and outsourcing servicesIsaac James Associates has partnered with a Top 50 firm of Accountants to appoint an Accounts Manager into their office in South London. This firm offers Audit & Business Accounting Services to a wide range of clients, from Owner Managed concerns to SME’sand Corporates, and have multiple offices across the UKThis firm offers superb in-house training & development, and career progression opportunities are exciting.Your new role You will manage a portfolio of clients, and duties will include:

  • Delivering Statutory Accounts and associated Advisory Services.
  • Preparation of Year End Accounts, including Directors Reports
  • Management Accounts and ad hoc reporting.
  • Preparing VAT returns and other associated submissions.
  • Practice management - ensuring timesheets are accurately prepared and managing junior colleagues.
  • Training & Development of junior colleagues
Your backgroundThe successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a successful track record in an Accounting Practice. You will be working with a portfolio of Accounts Clients, be accustomed to managing Client relationships and supervising a team ofjunior colleagues. UK GAAP knowledge is important.VAT knowledge is essential, as this firm provides a first-class VAT Returns service to is busy client base.A hybrid working model is in place, and this role is located in Croydon Office.If you are an ambitious Accountant and enjoy working closely with your clients to help them drive their businesses forward, apply today for a confidential discussion.
