Job Description

Are you an experienced 1st Line Support analyst with a flair for providing excellent customer serviceWe have a 1st Line Support role based primarily in Croydon but occasional days in Shoreditch. Role is initially for 2 months but with the option to extend for a further two months if required.Role responsibilities EMAP Onsite Engineer:Hardware SupportTroubleshooting and resolving issues with business hardware including, but not confined to:

  • Hardware faults with all business machines
  • Printer issues/Liaising with 3rd party Printer support
  • Meeting room equipment issues (TVs, projectors, other AV kit)
  • Desk phones
  • Mobile Phones
  • Tablets
  • Peripherals such as Mice, Keyboards, Headsets.
Software SupportTroubleshooting and resolving issues with business apps and third party software including, but not confined to:
  • Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, One drive, Sharepoint etc).
  • Internet browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox)
  • VPN Client
  • Mimecast
  • Adobe CC/Related Adobe Apps (Such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Bitlocker Encryption
  • Papercut
Administration & User SupportFulfilling administration duties including, but not confined to:
  • Active Directory & Microsoft 365 accounts & administration
  • Landline phone numbers
  • Managing user accounts, inc. starters & leavers
  • Stock management (All Hardware Including peripherals)
  • Building/Rebuilding laptops (Windows)
  • New starters : Setting up laptops, phones & other devices
  • Restoring data
  • Maintaining all company hardware proactively
  • Data Storage & File/Folder permissions
  • Assisting Staff with technical problems
  • Maintaining record of support activity in IT Portal
  • Ensuring data security protocols are followed, eg 2FA etc.
  • Assisting Staff with It matters, whether in the office or elsewhere
